I bought this trimmer after owning a Panasonic that I lost on a business trip. It took longer to do the same job, but was much more comfortable. Then, the other day, it just quit working. Disappointing.

Even after reading these reviews I decided to try this product. I really liked it when I first used it. But sure enough after three uses it just died. Tried replacing the battery etc., but no go. Sadly when I first ordered this, I accidentally got two and just paid to ship one back to Amazon. Now I am going to return the defective one and Amazon is paying for it. Net, thanks to the poor product quality from Norelco/Philips, I actually lose money in addition to time after trying this product and hardly using it. I've had bad luck with Philips products before and at this point say never ever again will I buy Philips!

Great nose trimmer. The straight edge works better than the round ones on other nose trimmers. After being disappointed with the round nose trimmers, I recommend getting this trimmer.

Judging by some of the negative reviews, this fragile item may be damaged or they have a quality control issue. Mine has worked great. It's the best of the three I've owned. This one can get into places the others couldn't without cutting my skin.

Poor design, very poor effectiveness unless you have hair concentration of a gorilla (no offense meant). A much better choice is the old standby style with the round straight insertion type head. I put the NT9110 in the drawer & that's where it stays. I use my older version ear/nose hair trimmer.
