The On Stage II incorporates Apple's universal iPod dock adapter, which works with most docking versions of the iPod, including the iPod video 5G and 5.5G and the iPod nano 1G and 2G. Simply slide your iPod into the dock and you're set--no additional cords to connect or adapters to fuss with. I was very surprised for the price how good this speaker sounds. Even at high volumes the sound is crisp and clear. The only down fall is that it does not charge my IPOD 5th generation Nano while it is playing. If your looking for something that isn't too overly priced this is a good buy.

The speakers sound great in such a compact unit. It is very sturdy and even includes a remote that can Also included are basically every size fitting for the ipod and it charges your ipod while its on. Too bad it doesn't take batteries though, only the wall adapter will power it up.

I bought one of these previously for my husband and then this one for my brother. The quality is consistent. Perhaps the balance could be a little better, but the sound, overall is more than adequate for the portability and the price.

I returned this and got the 'P' version (all black including the speaker screen). The new version charges the new ipods (new nano 4G, itouch, iphones). Plus it's shielded so it doesnt screech when u have an iphone attached to it and u get a call.
