1 out of 5 stars Too weak to work properly   August 4, 2008
Lyman Cox
The FM transmitter produces a signal too weak to be useful. Perhaps moving the transmitter closer to the radio antenna would improve performance.

5 out of 5 stars Great   April 28, 2008

I bought this as a gift for my brother. He loves it!!! It was the only FM Transmitter I could find to go with the nano!!!! The only weird thing I found is that you have to increase the volume using your iPod instead of the radio controls. Overall a great value!

Ipod sound-sounds raspy; alot of distortion. At times sounds fine, but fluctuates; you get what you pay for.

I use my Ipod to listen to podcasts and this transmitter works great for that purpose. I think it has pretty good sound for music too. All in all a good cheap transmitter.

1 out of 5 stars FM transmitter nightmare!!!!!!   March 28, 2007

i have been through 4 FM transmitters and i am on my 5th,
no matter what the reviews say, don't believe them, except for mine
the only FM transmitter that should be trusted to actually play
music CLEARlY w/out interruptions is the one made by Monster Cable
the connectors are pure and the sound is the same
PEOPLE, if music is as important to you as it is to me then
pay the extra money for the quality; you've already spent a pretty
penny on your ipod; it's like buying a porsche and putting deisel in it
not a good idea
