This was a Christmas present, so we've only had a few days, but it appears to be nice so far. My 3yo figured out pouring water through the net scores goals (something it probably says not to do lol!) It did affect the sound, which became very quiet, but the sound returned to a normal level after the goal dried out. We'll see how it holds up in the long run. The balls can also be used as squirt toys. Sometimes it will register a goal when one has not actually been made (when the ball hits the rim right in front of the scoreboard I think).
