Our son started playing with this Baby Einstein Discovery center when we was 5 months old. He is now 10 months old and still enjoys daily playtime with it. He started on his back reaching to touch and discover. When he was sitting up, we adjusted it to his sitting height and he started putting the ball through the hole, turing the dials and eventually learned to pull himself up to standing position. Now that he is standing, we have adjusted it to a flat top level so that he can still play with it. We definitely have got our $$$ and use out of it and highly recommend this product. It is sturdy and easy to adjust. In the entire 5.5 months that he has consistently played with it, we have never had to change the batteries. The lights and sounds are very nice and our son has enjoyed them. It is still in wonderful condition and has held up extremely well. We have used it everywhere from the crib to the car to the floor. It is light and portable. A great toy all around.

My son initially tried this at a neighbor's house when he was only 6 weeks old...he LOVES this toy. I went out to buy it immediately. He is now 11 weeks old and this is still his favorite toy. It keeps his attention (which is hard to do at his age) for sometimes up to 30 minutes. I definitely recommend this toy!

My son loves to look up at this and play with the hanging toys. There's also plenty of room for him to roll around and light enough that he can shove it out of the way himself if necessary.

I bought the caterpillar when my son was 2 and a half months old. I wanted something that would entertain him even though he wasn't capable of interacting with a toy just yet. We would lay him in the boppy underneath it and he would watch the lights and listen to the music. He really enjoyed it. We joked that it was his first playstation. He would kick at the ball and star. When he got a little bigger, and was reaching for toys, he would grab at the toys and turn the music on with his feet. Then he got bored with it for a while. Now he is 7 months old and sitting up unassisted. I pulled it back out for the first time in about a month, and raised it up. Now he sits in front of it and is enjoying it at a whole new level.
So, we've had the toy for 5 months now, and it was unused for 1 month. For those 4 months, he played with it on a daily basis. And you know, I have never changed the batteries on that thing! Overall, we're pretty happy with it.

My 3 months old loves it. It keeps her occupy for about 10 min then she gets bored and cry. Now she's 4 moths starts to turn the music on by herself which keeps her much more interesting.
