Wonderful all-terrain stroller! October 28, 2008 Heather 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The Bumbleride Indie is a wonderful stroller! My husband and I bought this stroller for our first child. We're avid hikers, and wanted something that could take a lot of abuse on trails and carry our baby in comfort (and of course we were attracted to the great style of the stroller as well!). So far we've used it on wide dirt roads, at the beach, and all over town on paved sidewalks/roads. It's super-smooth, easy to fold, light, and most importantly, baby's happy! The features are great - cargo space is easily-accessible and large, cup holder works well, and the sun shade easily unzips and can be rotated to protect baby from sun at any angle. But don't just take our word for it - our nanny has cared for many children, and she rates this as the best stroller she's ever used!
Overall excellent all-terrain stroller June 1, 2008 N. H. Paduano (Los Gatos, CA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am really happy with this stroller. It has many nice features, including good construction, attractive colors, moves around easily, comfortable for baby, reclining seat, adjustable handle heights, large canopy, warm sleeping bag, lightweight, and roomy storage basket underneath (very key). Bumbleride is also less trendy and less bulky than the BOB -- and comes with more features -- well worth the price difference in my opinion.
Cons: a little awkward to fold but not bad once you get used to it; takes up a lot of room in the trunk of my Prius (but still fits); potential to tip over if you don't hold it with 2 hands up and down high curbs and any side slope. It also is difficult to carry up and down stairs with 2 people and impossible to do alone.
