I love this stroller! January 1, 2009 WeLoveEvaJ (FPO, AP) This stroller is great. The price is wonderful, and the quality is superb. It doesn't feel cheap or fragile but yet it's an umbrella style stroller.
It reclines pretty far (but not fully), and it takes a little bit of practice to recline-you need both hands. At first the stroller is stiff to collapse but after it loosens up it closes quickly. The basket is also very generous for an umbrella stroller.
I have NO complaints on this stroller. I wish they made a double stroller!!!
A REAL BUYER September 26, 2008 D. Jones (US) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
We got this stroller based on the review. For tall people- this stroller still is not high enough. MY HUSBAND DID KICK THE WHEEL and he still has to hunch over slightly. I think there are not too many out there that is made right for tall people though. My Husband is 6ft tall. We have the Britax preview which was purchase to go with the Britax companion carseat and it is same height. I would say the Britax was much safer too. This stroller is built with a few quality product but the design seems to be a bit complicated for easy usability.
I would in no way compare this to a high end stroller. It is not bad but it is no where near the Maclaren or Peg perego. When it is up then it really does not offer lots of protection on the side for your little ones. The picture here seems to make it look pretty deep but it is in a recline position. The stroller does not open like many stroller where there is one lever to push and lock it. It is a 2 process which involves you pushing your feet on a thimble like knob and then another lever to lock it. A bit cumbersom for parents with lots of things to handle.
We received on where the harness was way too short. Our baby is 8 months about 25 pds and we loosen the harness all the way and it is snug. This is a defect becuase there is no way that someone would make a harness that short. We called and they state they are sending us an extension kit which they did find was an issue with some of the few sent out. After waiting one week no extension kit. WE ALSO COULD NOT GET STROLLER TO CLOSE PROPERLY. IT WILL NOT COLLAPSE EASILY BACK INTO SHAPE. IN ANY CASE IT WAS TOO MUCH OF A HASSLE TO DEAL WITH ALL THE ISSUES AND WE ARE WANTING TO JUST SEND IT BACK.
Overall, I would not reccomend it to you if you are comparing it to good decent highend stroller. No where close to those! It is a nice color and was very easy to assemble but it is not one where I would bounce out of my seat like some of these other previews.
Love the stroller September 9, 2008 N. Dalton (New York) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love this stroller. I am 6 foot 1 inch and was concerned that I would have to lean over to push it. It is great height for everyone especially tall people. The stroller is very sturdy not flimsy like the cheaper umbrella strollers. The only drawback is that you can not just lap belt your child they must wear the shoulder straps as well inorder to lock it and the shoulder straps are not very long unless you add the extension piece it comes with. I otherwise love it, the color is wonderful the brown helps not to show every mark or crumb and the lavender makes it great for a girl. It is very easy to fold an just place in the car no problems. The basket is a good size also so if you need to put a few toys or a small package from the store in it there is no problem. I am very satisfied with it and would recomend it to anyone.
The best umbrella stroller August 27, 2008 Cleopatra (New York, NY) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I was looking for a lightweight stroller for vacations and all day events. I own Britax Vigour which I really love but it takes a lot of space in a trank so I wanted something lighter and more compact in folding. I did a search and came across this stroller. After reading reviews I decided to give it a try. Oh Boy! This is the best umbrella stroller and the most comfortable from all others that I saw including Maclaren. Higher than all Maclarens, more stable than other umbrella strollers plus it reclines automaticly without belt udjustments. My toddler can easy fall asleep even faster than in Britax. Very comfortable and roomy. It will last me for years. The color is beautiful and quality same as pricey strollers. The wheels are not plastic so the ride is really smooth. There is also a head pillow so it holds the head especially when child is asleep. The handles are soft and long enough even for tall people. This stroller has similar if not the same features as Maclaren Techno only it is $200 cheaper and way better than Maclaren. People stoping me and asking about this stroller. Love It! Love It! Love It!!!
Baby happy and comfortable July 23, 2008 Carla M. Pierre-auguste (Munster, IN) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I was looking for a higher end umbrella stroller to use for my daughter at Disney. I knew we'd be walking a lot and out for extended periods each day, so my daughter, who is 1, her comfort was key. We received a Chicco stroller as a shower gift, but I didn't feel that it would be as comfortable for her, because it lacked back and leg support. I looked at what seemed like a million strollers and I thought I'd never find one that I liked and met all of my criteria. A week before our trip I found this stroller on Amazon. It's easy to put up and take down. It maneuvers wonderfully, as I was able to steer with one hand. It is extremely roomy, has three recline positions, along with a great padded head pillow, and covered straps. It also has a nice size bottom basket, which is a bit of a challenge to access when fully reclined, but for me that wasn't a significant issue. May daughter was able to comfortably take her naps in the recline position and take in the sites while awake in the upright position. It's an all around great stroller, great price, and I love the color. This stroller met and exceeded my expectations. My daughter was able to ride in style and comfort.
