Amazon.com Product Description Keep yourself sharp when training for that 10K race (or just trying to lose a couple pounds) and keep yourself on time for important appointments with the Timex T5C291 Data Link USB Ironman digital watch. It combines the convenience of a personal organizer with the performance of a full-function, digital timepiece, and it easily connects to your PC for synchronization of schedules as well as timing data. It features a matte resin body with metallic top ring, durable stainless-steel strap, crown for easy setting, 2-year battery life, and water resistance to 100 meters (330 feet). Sport training features include a 200-lap chronograph with multiple session memory, multiple countdown timers with labels, multi-event interval timers, and dual setting options. The included software works with Microsoft Outlook for Windows PCs (Windows 98SE, Me, 2000, and XP), and it enables you to set hundreds of alarms, timers, and interval timers as well as choose custom sounds. The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function. An excellent watch January 6, 2009 David G. Rasmussen (Little Rock, AR USA) I have owned an Ironman Data Link watch in the past, but this one outshines the original by far. A well made watch.
TIMEX IRONMAN January 6, 2009 David L. Herfel (Fort Worth, TX) Great product that provides easy and immediate access to contacts and scheduled events. While a bit heavy to wear, it has simple download operations from the computer. This is my third Irdonman. The frequency of battery replacement varried. Battery replacement is NOT a do-it-yourself operation, nor is adjustment of metal band.
winding stem breaks January 5, 2009 Harry Langenbacher (Fullerton, CA United States) I love the functionality of this watch, but hate the fragile fake "winding stem". It is a serious design flaw. I have broken 2 of these babies, and am on my 3rd one. Now I only wear it to record lap times when jogging on a track, and I'm very careful with the winding stem.
data link December 27, 2008 Janice Kelly (New York, USA) Timex Men's Ironman Data Link USB Watch #T5C291
I have just received this watch as a gift as a replacement for an earlier version of the datalink. I am very happy with this newer version and the human interface is much simpler. It allows me to carry contact and other data very simply.
Watch review December 14, 2008 Alan S. Brender (S Korea) I received the watch very fast and at a good price. The only problem I have with Amazon.com is that there are many items they will not deliver to me, since I have an APO address. The watch is great and worth every penny of the $45 I spent for it.
