About Teeter Hang Ups
Roger and Jennifer Teeter founded Hang Ups Inversion Products in 1981 and have been dedicated to manufacturing quality inversion products ever since. Roger and Jenny truly believe in the benefits of this simple, natural form of therapy that has been around since 400 BC. In the late 1970's, Roger tried many forms of therapy to help manage his pain. He finally discovered that by inverting, he was able to relieve his back pain and begin the road to recovery. He credits inversion for keeping him pain free, healthy, and active. Inversion has changed Roger's life, and now he is dedicated to sharing his knowledge of inversion and quality products.

STL International, creator of Teeter Hang Ups brand inversion equipment, has pioneered standards for quality and performance in the inversion market. All Teeter Hang Ups F-series inversion tables are classified in accordance with UL 2601-1 (medical equipment in a clinical setting), a rigid specification that tests the structural integrity of the equipment.

5 out of 5 stars Great even after years of use.   October 21, 2008
D. A. Sims (Hunstville, AL USA)
I bought a pair of these in 1992 for training purposes. They worked great until last year when one broke. No big deal since they lasted as long as they did under extensive use, ~15 years! I am 6'2" 220lbs. and these babies survived a lot of punishment for a while.

I just recently purchased a new pair because there is nothing like inverted crunches to chisel your abdominals. The other plus is that they really help to decompress my spine after workouts. Great simple tools that last a long time are always good in my book. Enjoy!

5 out of 5 stars Used these for close to 15 years   October 7, 2008

I have used the spyder inversion boots for about 15 years, on and off. As I am not exactly a feather-weight (weight fluctuates between 210-240) this is a pretty good test. I am buying another pair as the strap on one broke (not in use - I suspect my son was messing with it) I even tried hanging with one broken strap (Do Not Try This At Home!) and they held up fine, but it made me a little nervous and my wife said it was OK to replace them. I don't do a lot of inverted sit-ups but just hanging or traction and hanging/twisting feels great on my back. As far as retinal damage - hasn't happened to me yet. If you have blood pressure issues - definitely talk to your doctor and therapist. Your mileage may vary. Don't hurt yourself and if you do, it's your fault.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent   October 4, 2008

I will admit, when I bought this product, I wasn't 100% taken by it. I've been using it for a month now and I feel great! I feel loosened up and stress-relieved, joints that used to pop with every movement don't anymore, flexibility has definitely increased, and using the inversion is really quite comfortable. I recommend this product to anyone and everyone.

4 out of 5 stars Definitely helps with the bulging disc   September 11, 2008
M. Hannan
Work as advertised, and seem sturdy, with thick, firm cushioning...for those looking to stretch your spine to alleviate back pain associated w/bulging discs, I can say they definitely help.

However, the removable calf loops seem like just a gimmick...they don't create any bend in the knees...they don't do anything, other than get in the way when putting the boots on and taking them off.

Also, even with the thick cushioning, there is most definitely some strain placed on the ankles...took me a week or two to get used to that, but if you have weak ankles, or a low tolerance for discomfort, you'll probably want to just go for the inversion table.
